You’re going to have to do without me for the next couple of days.
The family and I are headed south to the Kenai today.
If you need me, I’ll be waist deep in the Russian River.
There will most likely be my usual warm and encouraging updates on Facebook and Twitter, depending on smartphone connectivity, but you probably shouldn’t expect much in the way of posting here.
Back Monday, hopefully with some reds for the smoker.
Fission: if you don’t get that, you’ve never been to Milo’s Meadow and, really, shame on you for that. Shame.
Snorted many a dandelion over there while cloud watching...
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, you all!

Nu-cu-lar, dude!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit the first thing that came to mind was the guy in Brooklyn who's been all over the news for building a reactor in his basement. (You'll have to Google it!)
ReplyDeleteAre there still *reds* up there for you to put in the smoker? I thought with yer Ex-governor keepin an eye out for em cause she can see them from out her windah they'd have a hell of a time sneaking into Seward's folly.
ReplyDeleteIt would explain why your teabagger types are so stressed out though...too many reds sneaking across the Bering land bridge we thought was actually a sea.
Oh well...smoke if yah got em I guess.
p.s. Yes I realize the 'reds' in question are likely icthyous (I doubt that's a word) in nature but I couldn't help myself.
ReplyDeletePlenty of reds. Unfortuately, I didn't catch any of them today.
