Memorial Day

We spent this Memorial Day weekend enjoying Alaska.

And we’re off to do some more of that today.

If you get a moment, raise the flag or a glass and remember the men and women in uniform.  Remember those who have served and those serving now out there in the dark and dangerous corners of the world.

And then go enjoy your day, live, laugh, have fun.

That’s why we do what we do.

Some previous thoughts on memorial day and related topics here.

  1. The fact that it isn't a public holiday up here in Canuckistan didn't stop me from both hoisting a glass or two or remembering fallen comrades. It doesn't (and shouldn't) take a holiday to do that, just a little honesty.
