As a number of you noted, the commenting function has gone wonky.
Sorry about that.
I was playing with Stonekettle Station's template and underlying code, including commenting format. I liked the new format. Unfortunately it locked some folks out of commenting.
I put it back the way it was.
Please try to leave a comment. We'll see if I've got it fixed.
THIS looks more familiar...
ReplyDeleteMuch better. I had that other format initially on my blog, and it wouldn't let *me* comment there... Although I do like the way it looks better.
ReplyDeleteYAY! This looks much better..and MUCH more useful if one wants to comment.
ReplyDeleteYour comments work. Of course, they worked for me even with the changes. But that's because I'm special. And not old.
ReplyDeleteI refuse to play your games. You can't make me comment... oh damn.
ReplyDeleteDr. Phil
I'm even specialler than Vince. I commented multiple times in the wonky format. And the wonky format sent me a very nice 'Thank You' card.
ReplyDeleteTop that Vince!
This is not a comment.
ReplyDeleteHey, do we get sent into the waiting room from here?
ReplyDeleteHas Jim cleaned up his spam queue since our last foray there? I'm betting not.
Ah, much better.
ReplyDeleteHad this been an actual commenting emergency, you would have been told where to go and how to get there.

Had this been an actual commenting emergency, you would have been told where to go and how to get there.Have you seen those instructions, Wendy? I have. They read: "Go to Hell. Eat shit and die."
ReplyDeleteAnd that's why we all just kinda waited around for the comments function to be fixed.... :-)
I suspect that in the event of any emergency, this group would have no trouble finding the detailed instructions for bend over and kiss your ass goodbye!! ;P
ReplyDeleteGetting them to follow said instructions would be another matter altogether.

Did the changes involve your RSS feed? That's acting a bit wonky, too.
ReplyDeleteActually, Poet, I think that's a blogger issue. They did a feed upgrade a couple of months ago as part of the Blogger to Blogger II transition and it hosed up a number of things - which is why I don't have a "recent comments" widget on the sidebar anymore, because the code I used was dependent on the RSS feed, and I've been too lazy to code a different one.
ReplyDeleteYou might try deleting the feed, and resubscribing. That's worked for a number of people.
Resubscribing did the trick. I should have thought of that before bugging ya. Thanks.
