I've been enjoying doing the various panoramas displayed in previous posts.
And I like the look that they give to my site banner. Since I'm out nearly every weekend taking pictures, you'll probably see a lot more of them.
I wanted a place to store the previous banner images, so that visitors could view them in high resolution even after they've been taken down. So I've created a public Picasa Album and uploaded this month's panoramas there.
So far there are only three images loaded, but you can expect many more in the future.
Thunderbird Falls, Alaska
Main Street, Talkeetna, Alaska
Reed Valley and the Archangel Mine, Hatcher Pass, Alaska

I've spent the morning on the phone and in IM, so I'm a bit behind on things. I don't have time for any long blog posting this morning, so how about a photograph related video? (Um, watch the words and listen to the lyrics - there's some funny to be had there).

Pretty damn funny video, Jim.
ReplyDeleteOh sure, I instant message you one time and now I'm responsible for messing up your day.
ReplyDelete:D
I thought so
ReplyDeleteActually you were the highlight of my day, Shawn.
ReplyDeleteBut, you were number three out of five IM conversations this morning (and the only one I enjoyed). And three phone calls. Some days, that's just how it is.
But, you were number three
ReplyDeleteAdmit it, you so wanted to say I was number two. :D
The "I thought so" comment was in reply to Eric, BTW. Shawn posted right before I did - so then my comment made an entirely different connotation, which is not what I intended. And this comment could of course be construed as implying that Shawn messed up my comment, which is not what I intended either, but hey, what are you going to do? Right.
ReplyDeleteIt's all Shawn's fault.
Oh, hey, that was much easier
Dammit, he did it again.
ReplyDeleteJim, if you're interested, and can use php with your site, Michael designed a php file that randomly brings up a new image for every viewer. I believe it could also be changed to display a specific image on a specific day of the week.
ReplyDeleteLemme know if you're interested.
