Uh Oh!
Is it just me, or do the rest of you now have the "Run away!, Run away!" bit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail in your head? Ha, don't say I never gave you anything.
Brave Sir Robin ran away.
Bravely ran away, away!
When danger reared its ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled.
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly he chickened out.
Bravely taking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat,
Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin!
Try to have a good Saturday, I'll be out running some errands.

I like the listing of all the awful things that he wasn't afraid of being done to him: "his eyes gouged out and his elbows broken," etc. Quite disturbing to Brave Sir Robin.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I wanted to say how much I liked your CJ quote at the top of the page. I dearly miss CJ.
It reminds me of Spamalot, which we saw recently at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. That show gave me a severe case of the Tee-Hees.
ReplyDeleteDisclaimer: Yes, I am aware that Monty Python and the Holy Grail was the inspiration for Spamalot.
ReplyDeleteEnd of disclaimer.
